By the time the necessity for this tune's existence came about, James and I had been partners for years, and it looked like a pretty solid bond. Our thoughts began to turn to rearing a family and hoping for children of our own. For the Christmas card in 1990 or thereabouts, that hope is reflected in the tune's name, though it is just as appropriate for the anticipation of Jesus' arrival in the Nativity.
