Gracia Grindal wrote a text on the kingdom of God being like a mustard seed which caught my ear. This tune grew around it, and eventually came to its present form after some trimming. The octave leap at the end of the upward scale I think paints the text "a mystery", as if we grasp it for a moment, but in the end recognize we haven't got it at all.
