Worship is the central point in our community life, where we meet with one another and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Worship is the place where we hear God's word to us, are fed at the table with Christ's body and blood, and practice living life in the reign of God. We welcome anyone whether they are curious about the Christian life or already committed to Jesus Christ as Lord. The fellowship of the table is open to all who have confessed their faith in Christ and who are members of a Christian church. Our pastor, Kathleen Hart Brumm, B. Mus., M. Div. was ordained by the Classis of New Brunswick in 1992 and is a member of the Classis of Columbia Greene. We follow the Revised Common Lectionary and use both Rejoice in the Lord and Sing! A New Creation as congregational music resources. While we observe the prescribed constitutional Liturgy of the Reformed Church in America, it allows substantial freedom in our regular Sunday service. |
